Savannah

The 130' x 26' Crew/Supply vessel, M/V Savannah was delivered to Texas Crewboats, Inc. of Freeport, Texas by Gulf Craft, LLC on March 17, 2000.  The Savannah features deck cargo capacities of 150 long tons, fuel capacity of 13,600 gallons, rig water capacity of 21,000 gallons, ship's water capacity of 850 gallons, deck space of 74' x 21' providing 1,554 square feet of loading and accommodations for 64 passengers and 6 crew members. The vessel is powered by four Cummins KTA-19M engines coupled with four ZF, model BW190, 2.5:1 reduction ratio gears providing a light ship speed of 23 knots.   Twin 50KW Cummins 6B5.9 generators supply electrical power for the vessel's services.

Passenger accommodations include 64 bucket seats in the air conditioned main deck cabin and one head with lavatory and toilet.

Air conditioned crew accommodations below the main deck cabin include four staterooms with two berths and one clothes locker per stateroom, one head with lavatory, toilet and shower, a laundry room equipped with washer/dryer and chest freezer, galley with electric range/oven, sink, refrigerator/freezer, food pantry and mess area with split table booth seating arrangement and TV/VCR for the crews' entertainment.

Navigational and electronic equipment aboard the M/V Savannah includes the Northstar GPS, dual Furuno radars, dual S.E.A. VHF radios, a S.E.A. Single Side Band radio, an Encoder/Decoder by Necode Electronics, a Navtex Receiver by Furuno, a fathometer by Sitex, a stereo/cassette player by Seaworthy, two forward facing search lights and navigation lights by Perko.  The aft steering station is equipped with a VHF Remote by Speco, P.A. system by Wheelock and rear facing search light by Perko.
